Members of the Gawler Auto Restorers Group dogged the weather all day to attend the Old Crocks Run organised by the Sporting Car Club of S.A.

Allen Goddard – 1929 Chevrolet Tourer.

Trevor Unsworth & John Greig – 1916 Willys Overland.

Peter Dalton – Spectator.

We assembled on Hutt St. in Adelaide at 8:00 am which was closed from Hallifax to Angus St with tents & marques set up along the Eastern side.

The stalls were selling clothing, several food and cafés and included a band and dance floor with several participants demonstrating their skills.

At 10:45 we were all set off along Halifax St. through the city to West Tce. and onto Anzac Hwy. to Wigley Reserve where we collected our attendance medal and enjoyed the festivities and to catch up with many friends.

A great day out despite the weather forecast, thanks to the Sporting Car Club for a well organised event.

As we arrived home and drove the car into the shed the sprinkles started – just made it!!
